The Meramec Valley Is Worth Fighting For.
A proposed large-scale industrial development threatens the water, wildlife, and protected species of one of Franklin County's most ecologically significant landscapes. We're here to make sure the public has a voice.
Why We Exist
A valley identified. A threat proposed. A community responding.
The Missouri Department of Conservation's Natural Heritage Review identified the Meramec Valley area in Franklin County as ecologically significant — home to protected species, sensitive water resources, and irreplaceable habitat.
Missouri Conservancy, LLC was formed to ensure that proposed large-scale development in this area receives the scientific scrutiny, legal review, and public participation it demands. We coordinate residents and qualified experts, fund environmental assessments, and support every lawful avenue to protect this place.

What We Are Fighting Against
These facilities are coming to communities like yours.
Hyperscale data centers are being proposed across rural Missouri — often through secret deals and non-disclosure agreements signed by elected officials. Your community could be next. Contact your local and state officials now to voice your concerns.
- Secret deals and Non-Disclosure Agreements signed by elected officials
- Profits for Big Tech and politicians at the expense of local communities
- Paving over prime farming real estate
- Industrialization of our residential and farmlands
- Permanent loss of food production in the nation's breadbasket
- Electric grid overload and residential rate increases
- Light pollution
- Noise pollution — 24/7, as loud as a jet engine
- A decade or more of construction disruption
- Permanent loss of wildlife habitat
Science, law, and community — that's how this gets won.
